San Diego Tours
GALA will offer two pre-conference tours on Sunday, 15 March and one post-conference tour on Wednesday, 18 March. You can register for any tour when you register for the conference. Please note that you can't register for both Sunday tours because they overlap. Guests are welcome (payment required) and must be added by contacting GALA staff directly. Please let us know if you'd like to register a friend or family member and we'll help. Tour guides will speak English.
Pre- and post-conference tours are not only a great way to see the highlights of the host city — they are also a great way to network with other conference participants.

San Diego is one of the best locations to watch whales year-round. Gray whales migrate winter to spring from feeding grounds in Alaskan waters to calving lagoons in Baja California and back, and March is prime-time whale watching season. The cruise departs from Pier 2, a half-mile's walk from the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Enjoy the open ocean, fresh air, scenic views, and lots of native wildlife.
