Tuesday, 13 March
The working groups from the TAPICC initiative Track One will meet on the preconference day—Tuesday, 13 March—to work on project deliverables. All working group members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The meetings will take place at the Boston Sheraton Hotel. Room names: Berkeley and Clarendon (3rd floor).
The tentative schedule is listed below. There will be an "all-hands" meeting comprised of all WG members at the close of the day, from 16:00-17:30 for all who can stay.
09:00-12:00: WG 2 and WG 4
12:00-13:00: lunch provided by GALA
13:00-16:00: WG 1 and WG 3
16:00-17:30 All-hands debrief
Conference registration is not required to attend the pre-conference WG meetings, however, if you plan to attend, please RSVP using the form below.
Wednesday, 14 March
TAPICC WG leaders and steering committee members will meet for lunch on Wednesday to discuss Track 2 planning and continuation of Track 1 deliverables. You will be notified of the room/location at a later date. Lunch is from 12:30-14:00.
There will be an "all-hands" meeting open to representatives from language technology companies on Wednesday afternoon at 16:00. The purpose of this meeting will be to share draft specifications and an early-stage API prototype and gather feedback from the LT community. More details will be posted soon.
Thursday, 15 March
Thursday will feature two sessions on the main program:
- Stop Reinventing the Wheel! The TAPICC Pre-Standardization Initiative for Translation APIs
- TAPICC Use Case Roundtable
