This interactive workshop, led by Jonathan Bowring (Riversight Consulting), will introduce the key concepts of coaching and why it can be a helpful technique to have in your management toolkit. We’ll explore self-awareness, listening well and the power of good questions. We’ll discuss how coaching can maximize the potential of the people you manage, increasing engagement and ownership. Come with an open mind, ready to participate and try out some basic techniques.

Jonathan Bowring, Riversight

Jonathan is a consultant, coach and facilitator in management development. He founded Riversight in 2016, providing services to the localisation industry and other sectors. Jonathan graduated with 1st class honours in Computer Science from Southampton University. He started his career as a software engineer with the UK MOD, followed by Hewlett-Packard, where his involvement with localisation began. At Canon, Jonathan became EMEA localisation director, building a localisation and web publishing function which operated as an independent division with its own P&L. He certified with distinction in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School.
