Organization Overview

Reliability, continuity, efficiency, history.
Rosario Traducciones y Servicios offers more than 20 years of knowledge and active participation in the localization and translation industry.

Communicating clearly at an international level and interacting across borders wouldn’t be possible without translation.
Global business won’t exist without translation. Every day new apps allow us to interact with peers or conduct business no matter where we are and, thanks to translation, no matter what language we speak. These are some challenges we face in a global world.

Marketing best practices tell us that in order to reach more clients and fulfill their requirements, we need to speak the language of our buyers (“Can’t Read, Won’t Buy,” Don de Palma). Our mission is to help you guarantee your ROI across international markets. And to do so, the key to quality and efficiency is professionalism.

For us, it is not a question of just translating words. Our main objective is to ensure that your project will be delivered on time and within budget.
Our project managers have been working with us 10+ years on average and are familiar with the latest tools and processes. Through all these years, our project managers have learned how to adapt not only to new technologies and workflows but also to our clients’ increasingly demanding requirements.

In 2017, as part of our ongoing commitment to training, all of our project managers were certified in Localization Project Management by the Localization Institute.

At Rosario Traducciones y Servicios we value technology and we apply it whenever possible. We are also aware that terminology and style are key to achieve and maintain brand identity.

Commitment to Quality
Rosario Traducciones y Servicios complies with ISO 17100. ISO 17100:2015 is an international quality standard, specific for the translation services.
ISO 17100:2015 provides requirements for the core processes, resources, and other aspects necessary for the delivery of a quality translation service in line with applicable specifications. Applicable specifications can include those of the client, TSP, relevant industry codes, best-practice guides, or legislation. For more information, visit: https://www.iso.org/standard/59149.html

As part of our standard QA process, Rosario Traducciones y Servicios conducts additional quality checks every month on different projects. As a result of this internal audit, feedback is provided to each linguist in order to ensure our continuous improvement process. This is an internal review in addition to the normal editing, proofing and QA steps.

Our History
Rosario Traducciones y Servicios S.A. is headquartered in Rosario, Argentina. Our city hosts some of the more prestigious translation training centers in Latin America.

From 1995 to 2000, managers of the current Rosario Traducciones were responsible for the production centers of three international translation companies: Lazoski, Beninatto and Associates (Brazil and Argentina), Language Management International (USA, Netherlands, Singapore, Brazil and Argentina) and Berlitz GlobalNET, which was the leading company in the industry, with offices in 26 countries, at the time.

In 2000, Rosario Traducciones y Servicios S.A. was born with the implementation of an innovative and flexible production model, leveraging the founders’ prior experience. Our international exposure gained even more momentum starting back in 2002 when we became the first Latin American company to join the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), the global, non-profit trade association for the translation and localization industry.

GALA members are companies and organizations around the world that use language, translation, localization, and interpreting services and technologies to reach their global audiences and markets. GALA is a worldwide, independent community for professional translation, localization, and interpreting businesses. GALA offers a non-biased platform for information-sharing, collaboration, and professional development. For more information visit www.gala-global.org

Since 2016, we are also proud members of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA), the not-for-profit trade association of language service companies with a mission to accelerate members’ business success. ELIA is committed to creating highly relevant events and initiatives to the needs and interests of language companies with a European business focus, providing widespread benefits to the language industry as a whole. On a regional front, back in 2006, we started to collaborate with other localization companies in Argentina, in order to join forces and promote our country as a translation hub. Translated in Argentina (TinA) was thus born as a combination of cooperation and competition, a true example of coopetition. In 2017. Translated in Argentina became a legal civil association and Gabriela Morales was elected as its first President for a period of two years. More information: www.translatedinargentina.com
