GALA Goes to China: TAC 2018
On 19-20 November in Beijing, GALA will participate in the largest translation conference in China: the annual meeting of Translators Association of China (TAC). The theme of the conference is “Promoting Industry Innovations for China’s Further Reform and Opening-up” and in keeping with that focus, GALA members will present on a number of topics related to technology, training, and new growth opportunities.
GALA will also host a booth in the conference exhibition to share information about the industry, the association, and our members, as well as to learn from our colleagues in China about their challenges and opportunities.
Companies from Asia comprise 14% of GALA’s membership, with ten members headquartered in the PRC. It’s a market that has great potential for growth and expansion and companies there have shown an eagerness to connect and collaborate with outside organizations. GALA is keen to do the same.
GALA’s session, "Global Perspectives on Strategy, Technology, and New Markets," features the following presentations:
|Using GEO Alignment for Enterprise Globalization Planning||Weili Xu, Senior Strategy Manager, NetApp|
