GALA Announces New Board Members for 2013

Members of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) have elected five new members to begin terms in 2013:

Diego Bartolomé, tauyou (Spain)
Terena Bell, In Every Language (USA)
Robert Etches, TextMinded Danmark (Denmark)
Véronique Özkaya, Xplanation (Belgium)
Joël Sigling, AVB Translations (Netherlands)

They join the following continuing board members from 2012:

Fabiano Cid (Ccaps Translation and Localization, Brazil)
Kim Harris (text & form GmbH, Germany)

Board members Serge Gladkoff (Logrus International, USA), Xavier Maza Cid (iDisc Information Technologies, Spain), Gary Muddyman (Conversis Ltd., UK), and Shelly Orr Priebe (Priebe & Associates, USA) will conclude their board service at the end of 2012.

“We are delighted to welcome these new board members,” said Hans Fenstermacher, GALA’s recently appointed CEO. “Their energy and dedication to GALA will help us strengthen our programs and continue to develop innovative projects to serve our members and the language industry.
