Have you ever wondered what goes into localizing content in your everyday life? Such as the foods you eat through to the films you watch? How do commercial brands communicate effectively across global markets?

The localization industry is growing rapidly, and new methods of localizing are being developed with the advancement of technologies. The global market for outsourced language services and technology will grow to US$56.18 billion by 2021, according to the report on “The Language Services Market: 2018” by Common Sense Advisory (CSA).

This event will be a great opportunity for localization professionals, future talent, students, and teachers to hear from industry professionals about the different routes available in localization, the skills required, future opportunities and training options. The format will be one mentor on each table with up to eight mentees, which will change each 15 minutes. To prepare for this event please have an up-to-date LinkedIn profile, and a notepad if you wish.

In an ever changing business world, it’s important to know how future roles can change in the industry. With a series of experts covering recruitment and career development, freelancing, project management, quality management and creative translation among other topics.
