GALA Announces 2005 Board Officers
GALA
GALA welcomes Aki Ito and Arancha Caballero to the GALA Board for the
2005-2006 term. Aki Ito is the Vice President of Global Technical
Communications at Prisma International (USA) and Arancha Caballero is the
co-founder and COO of TSG Servicios de Traduccion GLOTAS (Spain). The
Board officer positions for 2005 are as follows: Hans Fenstermacher
(ArchiText, USA), Chair; Aki Ito, Vice Chair; Arancha Caballero,
Secretary; Renee Sztabelski (Hitext s.a., Belgium), Treasurer; and Daniel
Carter (TOIN Corporation, the Netherlands), Board member. The GALA Board
is composed of five volunteer members who are elected by the GALA
membership to serve two-year terms.
GALA would like thank Hedley
Rees-Evans from iSP Europe (The Netherlands) and Don DePalma from Common
Sense Advisory Inc. (USA) for their industry vision and commitment to the
association during their two-year terms on the GALA Board. Both
volunteered numerous hours to create opportunities for the association and
its members.
