GALA Webinar: Structured content in DITA/XML: Challenge or opportunity for the localization/translation community?

Anna van Raaphorst and Dick Johnson, DITA consultant from VR Communications, Inc., will present a webinar on Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) on Thursday, 09 September.  DITA is an XML-based architecture for authoring, producing, and delivering information. 


Anna and Dick represent an independent, vendor-neutral view of the content production industry and DITA and are producers of free resources for the DITA community.  They are currently working on information/models about localization/translation for content producers and are interested in fostering more collaboration between content producers and content localizers/translators.

  • An overview of DITA's key benefits for content producers with a focus on localization benefits
