Klaus Fleischmann, Managing Director
Kaleidoscope GesmbH
Maria Enzersdorf, Austria

Kaleidoscope is a specialist in automating and optimizing multilingual product information. Founded in 1996 and one of the first Trados technology partners, we offer market-leading translation and content management software, consulting and implementation. With our sister company eurocom, Austria's largest LSP, we offer turnkey solutions from authoring through translation.  We have developed many "missing links" for existing tool environments, above all QuickTerm, an application to easily integrate MultiTerm-based terminology into any Windows software. QuickTerm enables end users to look up, request and provide feedback to terminology with a single keystroke and without terminology know-how.

Why did your company join GALA?  Kaleidoscope joined GALA for two reasons: First, GALA offers a very efficient instrument to stay in close touch with developments and people. Staying in tune with technology and people is primordial to success in the language industry.  Second, we expect GALA to offer us a platform to share our know-how and tools with a wider geographic audience. Many providers and clients face similar challenges and we believe GALA is a platform to share thoughts and technologies.

Federico Vinci, Sales & Marketing Manager
Mercury International Services (M.I.S.)
Rome, Italy

M.I.S. is a dynamic localization company, keeping pace with customers for 28 years. This experience, unceasingly tested, is our main asset and the proof lies in regular customers always encouraging us in our main goals: quality and fairness. Instead of trying to do everything, we succeed in doing our best in one field. Our 'secret'? Being a company of flexible people servicing customers rather than an organization of facilities and systems.

Why did your company join GALA?  We joined GALA because we firmly believe that unity means strength, that it is essential to privilege cooperation rather than competition, that exchange and dynamism are the only possible policies, and although we have chosen to be a small company, we are so solid and trustworthy that we are able to offer a valid contribution to the world of localization.

Yuri Patchko, Sales & Marketing Director
NEOTECH
Moscow, Russia

Neotech is one of the leading translation companies in Russia and CIS countries, offering a full range of linguistic services to global corporations.  Neotech is the first translation company on the Russian market, which has certified its quality management system to international ISO 9001:2000 standards. Fields of expertise: automotive, oil & gas, IT, legal and medical. Target languages: Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh, and Azeri.

Why did your company join GALA?  The main reason we joined GALA is that today translation and localization are one of a number of high-technology and complex fields, to which our customers voluntarily or involuntarily compel us to respond.  In order to be at the level of their expressed (and at times unspoken) demands we have to be well-informed, employ the latest technologies, and possess professional expertise and skills at universal-standard levels.  The chance to learn from others’ experience, exchange views, share expertise – all these and many other benefits we receive in becoming members of GALA.
