Company description: Our company started in 1988 in Brussels and was relocated to the Netherlands in 1995 under the name of Crestec Amsterdam. For its 10th anniversary in 2005 our company became Crestec Europe (CEU) as it is known nowadays. This change was made to highlight our position as the European and language lead within the Crestec group. Crestec Europe is in fact part of the Japanese Crestec Group, which in the past 25 years has developed into a major market player in the technical documentation market with a worldwide network of more than 20 offices spread over 10 countries. Starting out as the translation centre for the entire Crestec group, with only five employees, Crestec Europe has since grown into a well-recognized company with about 50 employees and a network of hundreds of dedicated professional partners offering complete documentation services in over 50 languages. Although translation is still a major part of our activities, an equal proportion of our turnover is now derived from printing. Other activities include software localization, client administration, DTP, technical writing, design and CD production. Fulfillment and logistics are also a stable part of our business. In a very competitive market, Crestec Europe has grown steadily and continues to do so.
