Company description: Centrum Lokalizacji C&M operates in the area of software localization and specialized translation services. The company started its operations in 2007, but our expertise has been growing since early 1999. The experience and knowledge of C&M is the effect of merging the resources of Intra and other localization companies as well as our long-term co-operation with partners from Central and Eastern Europe. Our co-operation with companies and translators from all over Europe has convinced us of the existence of a special bond between the Central and Eastern European nations. This stems not only from common, usually Slavic tradition and culture but also from our recent history. Therefore, we concentrate our services and marketing efforts on the Central and Eastern European markets. Driven by the idea of bridging cultures, we offer top quality translations from English and other Western European languages into the languages spoken in Central and Eastern Europe. Thanks to our co-operation with large, mid-sized and small companies we have gained extensive experience. A team of constantly verified and competent translators as well as experts in many different fields, guarantees that our translations are always reliable and prepared with due diligence. SOFTWARE LOCALIZATION AND TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTATION AND TRAINING MATERIALS Software localization is a complex service which requires such adaptation of a computer application or operating system so that it could be used by people who speak a language other than the one used by the software developer. Full localization includes not only the translation of all text appearing on the screen and in printouts, but also the help files, documentation, marketing materials, websites, etc. In many cases it also requires source code modification in order to enable the use of specific characters in the target language, proper character encoding and date format. This kind of service requires a close co-operation between IT engineers and translators as well as advanced technologies and a perfect workflow. When it comes to software localization, C&M is one of the market leaders. We have gained our experience from co-operating with the largest software providers in Poland and abroad. We have successfully completed many projects involving the localization and translation of help systems. For example, we have localized: IFS Applications ERP system (5 versions for Polish, the last version for Russian and Romanian), Sanchez Profile for Windows (banking system), QAD MFG/PRO and eB2 MRP systems, Card/1 (geodetic software), Trading platform for Marketplanet, OCE Software (document management system). Each of these systems was accompanied by extensive documentation. We have translated thousands of pages of application and user manuals. We have provided translations in various formats such as: DOC, RTF, PDF, HTML, MIF and many others. Each of these projects was a complete success which is proved by the references given to us by satisfied customers. Additionally, our employees have been translating technical and legal documents for IBM Polska and IBM CEMA AS for many years. We gained extensive experience in translating training materials during the localization of large IT systems. We prepared complete documentation for most of these systems. Our most voluminous translation was prepared for the purpose of IFS Applications user trainings. Moreover, we translated a Docent e-learning platform which included approximately 30.000 words in TXT files. We are also experienced in translating documentation for CNC machines and equipment. We have co-operated with the producers of consumer machines and devices as well industrial automation and robotics companies. Many companies in the market such as Emerson Process Management, Wabco, Kinzo, Ingersol-Rand, Astor, MPL Technology, the Polish representative of Mitsubishi Electric, have chosen us as their language service provider. Additionally, we prepared Polish and Russian versions of manuals for CNC laser machines for MAZAK.
