2004 Rosario Networking Dinner: Rosario Dinner

09 February 11:00 EST (17:00 CET)
Join Andrzej Zydroń, CTO of XTM International and Training Executive Agata Śliwińska for a look at a new generation of Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools available based on the latest Web 2.0 technology. This tool demonstration webinar sponsored by XTM International will highlight the benefits of adopting an agile cloud-based solution for SME LSPs and provide a demo of XTM Cloud.
One of the biggest problems facing Localization Service Providers is how to stay competitive. Traditional desktop-based CAT tools are inherently expensive to run and maintain. They offer very little in the way of process automation. Localization is typically a highly collaborative process involving project managers, translators and reviewers. Managing a translation project using desktop-based tools is very labor intensive and leads to the creation of disjointed little islands of translation.
There is a new generation of Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools available based on the latest Web 2.0 technology. These systems are more open, cheaper, more efficient and easier to use than previous generation desktop-based CAT systems while offering a high level of automation and providing the basis for interactive collaboration between all participants.
Localization service providers and organizations with localization requirements are encouraged to join Andrzej and Agata for this session as they present the benefits of a cloud-based solution and provide a demo of XTM Cloud.
