28 June 11:00 EDT (17:00 CEST)
Join Maxwell Hoffman, Product Evangelist at Adobe, for this training webinar to learn how to effectively use PDF files for collaborative or individual LQA.
How many times have you received LQA edits as handwritten notes on paper or as random “sticky notes” scattered across PDF files? Learn how to effectively use the correct annotation tools in Free Acrobat Reader to indicate insertions, deletions, replaced text and more. Learn how to import PDF annotations and comments back into source FrameMaker or RoboHelp documents “in place” to speed up edits.
This session will be highly useful for contract linguists and agency staff alike. Recommended notations and special characters to bracket format commands will be covered. Methods shown in training should even allow western language speakers to make final edits to Asian language documents if all guidelines are followed. Training will include how to prep regular PDF for annotations via free Acrobat Reader (using an Acrobat X Pro license) or how to accomplish this in one step via FrameMaker or RoboHelp if you have Adobe Tech Comm Suite.
