As one of PTC’s largest R&D organizations prepares for adoption of the agile development process, PTC’s localization team has initiated a process review for authoring and localizing software UI strings. Join Localization Director, Georg Kirchner, for a webinar that will give insight into PTC's process discussions and the approach they eventually adopted.
During this webinar, Georg will explore the positions of the various stakeholders, (Development, QA, User Experience Design, Publications and Localization), look at translation query metrics and costs from repeat translations and review the responsibilities and workflow for authoring / editing and localizing UI strings under the agile development approach.
About the presenter
Georg Kirchner leads the localization project managers at PTC as well as one of its product localization programs. Georg joined PTC in 1995 as a technical translator, moved into project management three years later and eventually into localization program management.
