Call for Presentations

The GALA Webinar Series provides opportunities for members to connect with industry tools, technology, ideas and discussions in a sales-free environment right from their desktops. It offers companies a place to showcase their technologies as well as a chance to share industry knowledge and expertise. GALA hosted over thirty webinars in 2011 that were attended by close to one thousand participants.

2012 Call for Presentations

Are you an industry expert or technology provider?  Consider submitting a proposal for the 2012 GALA Webinar Series.

• Expert Presentations (60 minutes) provide webinar attendees the opportunity to hear about important industry topics, challenges and trends. Topics include localization techniques, client case studies, industry business practices or current areas of research.
   
• Advanced Tool Trainings (60-120 minutes) provide webinar attendees with training opportunities on industry tools and technologies they are already using. These in-depth sessions are conducted by an experienced trainer in a sales-free atmosphere.
   
• Sponsored Tool Demonstrations (60 minutes) provide webinar attendees with opportunities to learn about available industry tools and technologies. The cost to sponsor a tools demonstration webinar is $350 for GALA members ($500 for non-members).
   
• Premium Webinars (120 minutes) provide opportunities for training by industry experts on focused topics. Similar to expert presentations but more in-depth and with an interactive workshop format, premium webinars are a chance to dive in deeper and learn more.
