Personal Statement:

I see innovation and technology as integral components to language communication today and in the future. Robust and scalable solutions transform traditional multilingual communications methods into powerful tools to extend market reach and get messages across to the world audience.

Back in 1999, along with many others, we helped to coin the phrase "one-world marketplace." This still rings true today. Technology is shrinking our world virtually, allowing for not only all manner of communication across vast distances, but for communication in a far wider variety of modes, unheard of even five years ago. It is important not to discount however, local populations requiring language services. Language communication fosters the greater understanding of one another and that brings communities together.

I believe our industry as a whole is in a growing and changing process and that this will continue for a number of years due in part to advances in technology. The market for our products and services is also changing and we must innovate and change with it. Where we used to be able to count of revenue from certain industries, shifts have occurred that now bring revenue from industries we rarely worked with in the past. All the while, we must continue to focus on quality, reduced length of time from start to finish of any given project, and above all, keep costs reasonable.
