Company description: LIDO-LANG is specialised in multi-lingual translations of technical, legal, scientific, etc. texts.
We provide translations from major languages (mainly from English, French, Italian, German, Spanish) into all official languages of the European Community (incl. Estonian, Latvian and Maltese), as will as into many other CEE languages (Romanian, Bulgarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, etc.).
LIDO-LANG is active on European market, being a member of Polish Association of Translation Offices (PSBT), Italian Association of Translation and Interpretation (Feder.Cen.Tr.I.) and the Consortium of major European Translation Agencies (EULOGIA).
Also LIDO-LANG is a founding member of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA) based in London.
As a member of an Italian-Luxembourgish-Polish consortium, LIDO-LANG has got a 4-year-long multilanguage project from the European Community.
Since 2002 LIDO-LANG actively participates in international conferences for translating agencies, e.g. organised by Federcentri (in Rimini 2002 and Bologna 2003, 2004) and by ASLIB (London 2004 and 2005).
In May-June 2005 LIDO-LANG passed successfully the certification audit for ISO 9001:2000 and received a Certificate No. FS 96476 issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI). The Quality Management System implemented by LIDO-LANG is maintained in 2006.
An original, comprehensive management system - XTRF - has been designed, elaborated and implemented by LIDO-LANG in 2005.
Since 2006 the XTRF Management System is promoted among Language Services Provider as a convenient and reliable tool useful for managing translation agencies of any size.
