Join GALA members for educational webinars and tool demonstrations. The GALA Webinar Series is designed to spotlight the latest technologies, trends, and topics for our industry.

GALA webinars take place on Thursdays at 11:00 EDT. They include tool demonstrations and "Ask the Expert" presentations where industry experts discuss topics of interest for the member community.
MemoQ: Tool Demo Webinar

István Lengyel, one of the architects of MemoQ at Kilgray Translation Technologies, will demonstrate MemoQ on Thursday, May 15.

The one-hour session will give an introduction to the MemoQ Integrated Translation Environment and will cover deploying the solution at smaller and larger translation companies. Licensing models will be described, and participants will be invited to get hands-on experience with the tool.
International Pavilion at STC's 55th Annual Conference

GALA and the International Technical Communication SIG of the Society for Technical Communication will join forces again this year to host an International Pavilion at the 2008 STC Conference.

This prominent exhibit space will be a place for all conference attendees interested in international issues to gather and learn from cultural and industry educational presentations. It will also be the home base for “Passport to International Technical Communication,” an activity designed to foster interaction between conference attendees and our sponsors while highlighting international technical communication topics.
